The platform also provides its users a framework to create, upload and share user generated content like videos, pictograms, and online references. The Social learning platform is enterprise ready, secure and can work with other enterprise tools.

Best in Learning Technology Implementations

Origin learning won the best in learning technology implementation for its new technology innovation of context sensitive learning using NFC. Origin collaborated with GE Transportation division to create a NFC based solution to deliver on the job training based on the context of machinery accessed. Origin created a visual 3D based and mobile delivered platform to enable users to access content just by tapping their tablets against NFC chips embedded into machinery. The solution is developed on HTML 5 and can be easily adapted to any kind of mobile device with 7 to 10 inch screens.

This solution also has the added benefit of being a low cost implementation with high returns.

Origin learning won the best in blended technology implementation for its work on context sensitive learning. Origin worked closely with GE Transportation learning team to deliver mobile based learning content to its learners based on context sensitive triggers. The content could be activated either by scanning a QR code or tapping against a NFC chip or by recognising the equipment using feature recognition. This flexibility allows the user to get the right content at the right time. The learning content has minimal text on screen and is designed to be easily adapted to other geographies and languages.

This solution is developed using HTML5 and can be delivered on smartphones, tablets or personal computers.
